Simple Steps for Vintage 2016 - Employment obligations

During vintage it is important for all wine industry participants to to be across their obligations in relation to employment, work health and safety and migration law.

The South Australian Wine Industry Association has compiled a quick overview of employment and work health and safety obligations during vintage. This includes:

  • Bushfire Safety Plan
  • Managing Fatigue During Vintage
  • Hot Weather
  • Consultation regarding change to rosters
  • Penalty rates, loadings and overtime
  • Rest breaks
  • Rest period after overtime
  • Public holidays
  • Migrant employees
