SAWIA's vision is for the South Australian wine industry to be respected as a global leader continuing to build on its rich history through its strong commitment to quality, adaptability and sustainability. In line with this vision, SAWIA's mission is to provide leadership, advice and support to South Australian grape and wine businesses assisting them to prosper within a dynamic, diverse industry.
SAWIA's Priorities 2020 document sets out the six priorities for the year.
We also operate under the direction of the South Australian Wine Industry Plan, developed in 2014 by SAWIA and the Wine Grape Council of SA (WGCSA).
Priorities reflected in the plan include water, changing climate, utilities, transport, market and industry development, succession, industrial relations, work health safety and efficient production.
SAWIA's core functions are to provide leadership and strategy, to represent the industry and lobby on its behalf, and to provide advisory services to members. Each year, we report on our activities. Learn about SAWIA's activities by reading our Annual Reports below.
