Work Health & Safety Services
The South Australian Wine Industry Association (SAWIA) provides member services relating to work health and safety relevant to their business. This includes regular updates about WHS legislative change relevant to the wine industry as and when they happen.
Members can seek our assistance and advice about WHS issues arising out of the relationship with your employees by telephone, writing, faxing or emailing, or by making an appointment to see us at our office or arranging for us to visit you at your site or business premises. In the majority of cases our advisory services are provided at no additional cost to members.

The PCBU, officers, managers, supervisors, workers and contractors all have specific duties under the Work Health Safety Act 2012(SA).
SAWIA also provides members with consultancy services for work performed specifically for your business at member preferred rates. Consultancy services include work undertaken specifically for your company, such as:

Please ask if you have a particular need that is not listed here as the association will be able to assist you. Where SAWIA cannot assist you we will refer you to an alternative service provider.
In addition, members can request consultancy services be undertaken for specific project work, audits and company specific training or seminars.
Consultancy Services Rates
Specific work undertaken on behalf of a member is charged as an hourly rate, a daily rate or a fixed rate for the job. The consultant concerned and the member can discuss and agree on the method to be used. Member hourly rates take into account the membership fee paid.
