SAWIA is proud to co-ordinate this event with Study Adelaide to showcase South Australian wine and food to around 150 international students. This free event represents a great branding opportunity to engage with the students, many of whom are exploring wine. This year will see food producers included in the event which allows for strong reinforcement of pairing food and wine.
The opportunity for SAWIA members:
To participate in this event you will need to bring three bottles of each product for tasting samples (up to four different products per winery), marketing materials for your business and a staff member from your business (with current RSA certificate) who can engage with the students about your wine and brand. We strongly encourage wineries to come prepared with a targeted offer for the students - they enjoy making connections with wineries for purchasing wine to take home with them and also to offer their family and friends special cellar door experiences when visiting South Australian wine regions.
Study Adelaide will offer participating wineries post-event communications with students as required to follow-up any special offers you may have. Wineries confirming their attendance by 31 July 2019 will also be included via web link in Study Adelaide’s “WeChat” promotion about the event. Great exposure, and free.
At last year’s event, students represented 25 different nationalities with over half from China, Malaysia, India and Denmark. Study Adelaide has reported significant increases in 2019 student numbers from India, Brazil, Nepal and Colombia.
There are 10 spaces available for wineries - to express your interest or for more information please let me know via return email or phone 8222 9271.
